Fresh Taste DJ’s are doing it again! Friday March 1st catch some of the freshest bass music and artwork at Crisp Lounge on Brady St. This time McThree, Bardeenz, Designer Enone & Efkay are inviting special guest MR. HORROR (Gold Velour Records) to break it down with us until dawn. As always the cities sickest visual artists Video Villains will be providing a video booth for you to get weird with, and we have awesome posters to give away (above). Unfortunately we’re going to be a man down this time around, Strehlow is celebrating his 21st in Vegas, now that’s young money! Check out his two latest releases for the label, and show him some love.

We are ever-so-stoked to announce that we will be kicking it with Video Villains on 4/20. Before you ask “Who else would you be with on 4/20?” let me explain whats going down. The city’s sickest set designers and visuals artists Video Villains are throwing their one year anniversary at the Horny Goat hideaway. Not only are the most talented DJ’s in Milwaukee going to be there, but the party will be host to a spectacular frontier of Milwaukee’s biggest and upcoming companies, such as MODA3, Milwaukee Home, Bern and many many more who will be raffling away free swag all night long! The young Milwaukee producer is at it again. This time, Strehlow is serving a small but generous dish to the table, serving the Fresh Taste collective with his new nocturnally inspired harmonies which are PM Sessions Volume One. This tiny volume of tracks was crafted almost entirely of his collection of self engineered massive sounds for a simple and smooth finish. Strehlow EP

After hours of planning and work, the collective is proud to release a new EP. The self titled EP is brought to you by Strehlow. It’s his first time contributing work to the collective but dont let that fool you, this guys been around for a minute. His EP is a testament to his style of music and everything that he’s been working towards for the last few months. Not only is his sound unique in a sense that it could fit into a number of genre’s but the way in which he approaches the initial production process as well. Mostly each and everyone of his sounds in his tracks were created through a long experimentation with Native Instruments Massive. Keep your eyes popped for more to come from Strehlow in the future..“I make sounds that i like. Everything I know I learned sitting at my macbook in my mothers basement, all self taught. I prefer to create as much of it from scratch as I can, but if I hear a sound I like, I dont find any harm in sampling.
